After 12 years as a project manager in the corporate world, I made a decision that changed everything.

I chose to pause — not because I had to, but because my heart led me home, to my most important role: being a mom.

Boardrooms gave way to bedtime stories. Calendars were replaced with cuddles. I stepped away from a life of constant doing to fully embrace the quiet, sacred art of simply being present. That chapter was filled with love, mess, and meaning — and I cherished every moment of it.

Yet somewhere between nap times and night feeds, a small voice inside me whispered that I wasn’t done growing. I longed to create again. To build something that felt purposeful, exciting, and truly mine — without taking away from the presence I wanted to give my child.

So I started again.

Between school runs and sleepy afternoons, I spent a year learning — e-commerce, business, design. I studied with the same dedication I once gave to corporate deadlines, only now my biggest motivation giggled, played, and called me mama.

And from that space of love, learning, and late-night dreams, Brick Hues was born.

Brick Hues is more than a business. It’s my passion project, my second lease on life, and my quiet rebellion — proof that motherhood doesn’t end ambition, it reshapes it.
